    “Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für den kleinen täglichen Bedarf fußläufig in ca. 200 - 300 m Entfernung zu erreichen. Größere Supermärkte und Basare findet man in Turgutreis. Zu erreichen mit Dolmus oder Taxi (ca. 8 Euro eine Fahrt).”

    “Turgutreis ist eine echte Perle an der türkischen Küste. Wegen der Inselchen vor der Küste ist die Aussicht aufs Meer wirklich bezaubernd. Wegen der Lage am äußersten südwestlichen Zipfel der Türkei hat Turgutreis immer ein bisschen Wind, wodurch die gefühlten Temperaturen äußerst angenehm werden. Auch wenn 40 Grad herrschen, lässt es sich in Turgutreis gut aushalten. Mit dem umfassenden Angebot an Straßencafés, Restaurants und Bars kann man immer einen netten Ort finden, wo man den Sonnenuntergang betrachten kann.

    Wenn man mehr Hektik haben will, fährt man für einen Tag nach Kos rüber oder nimmt den Dolmus nach Bodrum. Auch Fisch essen in Gümüslük kann man empfehlen. Auch wenn Turgutreis ein Urlaubsort ist, ist er das nicht zu sehr. Man findet dort Urlauber aus allen Ländern Europas und aus allen Städten der Türkei; eine nette Mischung also. Der Markt von Turgutreis am Samstag ist zu empfehlen, auch wenn das Angebot in den letzten Jahren doch eintöniger wird. Turgutreis ist wirklich zu empfehlen, wenn man nicht auf Ressorts steht.”
