Cozy cottage for families located on a large plot in the cottage area Renåfjellet. Here you can enjoy the silence and tranquility with nature as your closest neighbor. With a little luck you will even see a moose. Bergren also lives in this region. In the summertime you can cycle or hike on exciting forest trails. Within 1 hour by car you can reach some of the best trout and grayling rivers in Norway. The cottage is situated close to the Mistra river, which is famous for its large trout. At the bottom of the valley flows the Renavassdraget, which forms the two lakes Lomnessjøen and Storsjøen and the river Rena. This water is especially known for vendace, grayling, pike and trout. For some time the local people have been catching vendace with landing nets in the river Åkrestrømmen ( fishing license required). In addition, there are good hiking opportunities here; we recommend the hiking destinations Sølenfjell and Jutulhogget. On the hike you are welcome to pick blueberries and lingonberries freely. You will also be close to bogs with lots of cloudberries. NB. Toll road to the cottage; 50,- NOK at first entry.
