Der Ort ist umgeben von einer reizvollen Moränenlandschaft mit vielen malerischen Seen wie z.B. den Garder See.
In der Umgebung gibt es ein ausgedehntes Netz attraktiver Rad- ud Wanderwege, zahlreiche Natur-und Bodendenkmäler sowie historische Gebäude.
Die Bäder der Ostseeküste, die Hansestadt Rostock oder die Landeshauptstadt Schwerin sind nur eine gute Autostunde entfernt.

Am schönen Garder See, in ruhiger Waldlage, liegen unsere  Finnhäuser. 
Eine Badestelle und ein Bootsausleih befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe.
 
Die gemütlich im Finnhausstil eingerichteten Häuser erstrecken sich über 2 Etagen und sind ganzjährig nutzbar. Auf einer Gesamtfläche von 70 m² verfügen sie über:

   - 1 Wohnzimmer mit TV, Radio und Terrasse (1Aufbettung möglich)
   - 1 kleine Küche
   - 2 Schlafzimmer mit je 2 Betten im Obergeschoss
   - 1 Bad mit WC & Dusche
   - 1 Balkon

Familien mit Kindern, Radwanderer oder Aktivurlauber können hier einen entspannten Urlaub verbringen.
 
Besonders sehenswert ist die um 1220 errichtete Klosteranlage in Dobbertin. (12 km) Dort befindet sich die einzige doppeltürmige Kirche Mecklenburgs. Aber auch die Barlachstadt Güstrow mit dem schönsten Renaissanceschloss Norddeutschlands ist nur 15 km entfernt und lohnt unbedingt einen Ausflug.
